When you visit our websites, we collect information that is used to customise and improve our content to create more value for users and visitors. If you do not want information to be collected about you, you can delete your cookies and refrain from further use of the website.
In the sections below, we have elaborated on what information is collected, its purpose and which third parties we share it with.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain and improve your experience with WeDoBooks' various brands and our services. We may also use the information in connection with the development of new products and services; including marketing.

If you use one of our services through a browser, you can have your browser block all cookies, including cookies associated with WeDoBooks websites, or have it indicate when a cookie is being stored by us. We retain data for the period permitted by law and delete it when it either expires or is no longer relevant for the processing and consent given. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. It is therefore not possible to give a general time frame for when information is deleted, but practice follows the basic principles of data retention (the purpose of processing must be relevant and valid).

As a general rule, WeDoBooks does not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. If we transfer your personal data to third parties in countries outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that there are appropriate safeguards, including, as far as possible, that the third parties are certified through the Data Privacy Framework or, as a minimum, that the transfer basis is the EU's standard contractual clauses (also known as Standard Contractual Clauses from 4 June 2021) on data transfer in our agreements with parties receiving personal data.
For marketing purposes, for example, we use a company (Hubspot) in the USA as a data processor. Although this is a US-owned company, we ensure that personal data is not transferred and processed in the US by having all data stored in a European data centre,

The above example covers how we work with your information in general, so that it is secure throughout the process, even with companies other than the Hubspot example.
Our business partners take the necessary steps to secure data in order to comply with GDPR. This also means that only relevant employees can access the information provided to WeDoBooks when interacting with our services.
You have the right to receive information about the personal data we process about you in a commonly used format (data portability). You can also object to the use of the data at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of your data. If the data processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
